June 15, 2002 Minutes

The President called the meeting to order with twenty-six members and guests present. The meeting was held during the lunch break at the Glen Saint Mary Nursery in Glen Saint Mary, Florida. The August meeting was discussed and the chapter decided to participate for only 1 day (Saturday). Robby was to discuss the details and set the time and date with Cla Allgood. The president thanked our host hosts, Lin and Magi Taber, who were most gracious and extended Southern hospitality at its finest. The chapter thanked Richard Waldron and Bill Howes for the bamboo cane that was presented to Mr. Tabor's Mother.

The meeting was adjourned for the members to visit the groves for cutting canes and picking up free daylillies that the Tabors offered to the group.
